Flight Seat Guide is an application that helps the air traveler with the knowledge to select the best airline seat available via the following sites.

• Quick access to the Seat Guru site which has tables comparing seat width and pitch and in-flight amenities for all the aircraft types in the fleets of over 100 airlines. The best part is the detailed seating charts which show the locations of power ports, restrooms and galley and give each seat a color-code; white for a typical seat, green for a particularly good seat - usually one with extra log room, yellow for a not so good seat that doesnt recline fully or is near a restroom and red for a truly bad seat which usually means one with multiple problems. Its easy to navigate: first pick your airline and then choose the aircraft from a list.
• Seat Expert – Provides best seat information for over 58 airlines world wide. Provides graphic depicting the best and worst seats.
• Best Plane Seat – Provides seating information for the best rows and seats for over 23 airlines.
• Quick access to Toll free numbers for major airlines.(via tagtag)

Pros and cons of Flight Seat Guide app for iPhone and iPad

Flight Seat Guide app good for

Good app for selecting the best airline seat available for your flight. Pick airline then airplane and displays seating chart with best and worst seats.
Flight Seat Guide is the perfect app for the road warrior or just an occasional flyer. It instantly accesses Seat Guru, the leading seat guide on the web, as well as other seat selection sites. Just pick the airline and see seat maps for every plane in the fleet to better decide which to choose and the ones to avoid. This is especially useful if your flight is suddently canceled while youre in route... quickly check seat maps to make sure you get the best seat possible. Highly recommend.
I dont fly often but I think airplanes are really cool and it is so cool to have a seating chart for the top airlines. Great app.
Needs to have an update explain why some seats are yellow green or red. Besides that good , fun app. Worth the .99centa

Some bad moments

Not updated. Content is easily found on Google instead of purchasing this. Too many MAJOR airlines missing. Altogether an unsatisfactory app, and Ill be claiming my refund once Apples email comes.
Does not open. Ill change my review as soon as it does! Crap.
Didnt believe other reviewers that the app didnt open. I spent .99 only to find out it didnt open! Buyer be ware!
This app is horrible in its present state! The seat maps are ok but the rest is awful. First off, selecting an airline is hard because they have all of the links pushed together so it is difficult to select an airline without very small fingers. Second, when you get the list of aircraft for the airline selected, the links for the aircraft are again pushed together so it is difficult to choose which aircraft you want to view. Finally, when you select the Seat Map Key it responds with a ultra small print key which you have to enlarge several times before you can even read it. This product has potential but until they get the kinks worked out of it I would not recommend it.
Not helpful in the least. Shows common sense and seats that are good or bad depending on their location. Just wasted .99 and will be deleting the app.
This app will not open. Obviously, the app developer is not keeping the app current with IOS revisions, but they dont seem to mind collecting our money. That is just plain robbery.
